Arab's Small Town and Downtown Celebration will be held the weekend of September 10 - 12, 2010. Events planned include a special recognition of Arab's former Homecoming Queens from 1953 to present, on Friday night during the Arab High School football game. Saturday's events include a music concert featuring local bands, and a Beatle's tribute band, The Return. On Sunday, there will be an unveiling ceremony of the Historic Marker commemorating Arab's First High School. Following will be a Downtown Historic Walking Tour, and Cemetery Stroll, where local citizens will portray the lives of many of Arab's Founding Fathers who are buried in the Historic 1883 Methodist Cemetery located in Downtown Arab.
